This Month in Art – July

This month’s featured sculpture is from The Light Within Collection and is called “Divine Creation.” The unique wood grain patterns within the Tamarind wood provide a rich, tonal contrast to the reflective properties of the white quartz. This piece exhibits a distinctive juxtaposition of shadow and light, striking a fine balance in showing the nature and complexity of all things.

Drawing inspiration from previously completed sculptures, Dorit has begun work on a limited edition collection of hand-painted lithographs. Each lithograph will feature a unique and exciting new take on one of Dorit’s beloved sculptures and will be individually numbered and signed by the artist. Featured below are recently completed versions of “Divine Creation” (see the sculpture above) and “Infinite Flow” (sculpture featured in the March 15, 2018 newsletter).
