Some sculptures are created to stand apart from nature. Others are created to belong to it.
This piece was designed for an outdoor setting where sunlight, shadows, wind, and changing seasons become part of the artwork itself. The flowing wood form and luminous crystal create a quiet dialogue between earth and light, strength and transparency.
As the day unfolds, the crystal captures and reflects the surrounding landscape, changing with the movement of the sun. The sculpture becomes a living presence within the garden, revealing something new from every angle.
I am always inspired by the relationship between nature and art. Rather than imposing on the landscape, my goal is to create work that feels as though it has always belonged there.
This installation celebrates renewal, balance, and the beauty of allowing nature to participate in the creative process.
With warmth,
Dorit Schwartz
