BEAUTY IN BUSINESS
Dorit Schwartz

HOW DO YOU DEFINE BEING BEAUTIFUL?
Beauty is a presence—it’s how something makes you feel rather than just how it looks. In my art, beauty comes from contrast: the raw textures of wood against the smooth shine of metal, the way light catches the edges of a crystal, revealing something unseen at first glance. It’s the play of shadows, too—the way light and dark dance together, creating depth and dimension. Shadows reveal hidden facets, turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. I think people are the same—beauty isn’t about perfection; it’s about character, energy, and the way someone carries themselves. It’s in authenticity, in confidence, in the way someone expresses who they are without hesitation. Just as shadows form shapes around the light, our experiences shape us into who we are.

BEAUTY GO-TO’S
NAILS:
I appreciate places that focus on natural, non-toxic, and high-quality products. Best Nails at Trailwoods Center is my go-to for a flawless manicure that prioritizes aesthetics and nail health. But to be fair, my hands are always working with wood, stone, and metal—sculpting, shaping, creating. That’s my kind of manicure.

HAIR:
A great stylist understands movement, texture, and shape—much like a sculptor. Hair is an extension of self-expression, and I appreciate someone who finds the perfect balance between structure and flow. My go-to salon is Poppy Collective—a creative, welcoming space where stylists truly treat hair as an art form.

FASHION:
Timeless, effortless, and rooted in nature—these are the qualities I look for in fashion. Linen, organic cotton, and high-quality natural fabrics define my style. Brands like Ralph Lauren and Banana Republic craft pieces that are both classic and comfortable, perfectly aligned with the textures and elements I work with in my art.

AESTHETICS & WELLNESS:
TruFusion – My go-to for yoga, Pilates, and a serious sweat session. Their infrared-heated classes are next-level.
Renaissance Health Center – The best place for acupuncture, homeopathic treatments, and overall wellness.

SKINCARE:
I believe in rediscovering ancestral skincare—simple, effective, and rooted in nature. Hearth and Homestead is my go-to for clean, traditional skincare that nourishes my skin without unnecessary additives. Their whipped tallow balm is deeply moisturizing, rich in essential fatty acids, and perfect for restoring skin barrier health. It’s especially great for hydration and elasticity, which are highly needed in Las Vegas. Haha!

MEET DORIT SCHWARTZ
As a sculptor, I see art as a reflection of beauty—timeless, raw, and ever-evolving.
My work combines natural elements like Mahoni wood, Acacia wood, and luminous crystals such as Quartz, Apophyllite, and Selenite, creating sculptures that explore contrast and harmony. To me, beauty isn’t just about appearance; it’s about depth, energy, and the emotions a piece evokes.
Art has the power to awaken something within us, to connect us to the world in a way that feels both grounding and transcendent.
That’s the essence of what I create—beauty in form, light, and movement.
